While we are still waiting to gift quilts overseas to children with clefts, we recognize that there are so many immediate needs right in our own country. Most recently the widespread devastation from tornadoes in Kentucky and neighboring states breaks our hearts. The needs are huge and there are many ways to help. We received this notice from Hancock's of Paducah which we would like to share. Forwarded by the Asheville Quilt Guild, from Backyard Fabric in Mayfield, KY: They are accepting donated quilts to go to residents who have lost everything due to the recent tornadoes. Quilts should be sent to Dana Hughes, 421 State Route 893, Mayfield, KY 42066. Please send by UPS or FedEx since their local post office was lost to the storms.
