Putting her second best foot forward....

Kim V from upstate NY arrived at my home yesterday with 81 (!) quilts for Wrap-A-Smile.  Talk about special delivery!  It was great to finally meet her in person as she has been a huge supporter of WAS for the last 15 years. not much room for vacation luggage.... As Kim and I both want to contain our shipping costs, it was a great opportunity for me to demonstrate our vacuum packing process for Rotaplast quilts.  Rotaplast prefers that we pack our quilts in 20 cube UPS boxes, ready for them to ship to mission sites with their medical supplies. With the help of both of our husbands we managed to shrink down 41 quilts into one box.  (Seeing is believing!) 41 quilts ready for action.... By now you must have noticed the boot in the picture.  Earlier in the summer Kim had foot surgery and was totally non weight-bearing for 2 months.
